Below is a list of some of the other Apachean textual materials that are available, or are in development. Many of these texts predate those collected by Hoijer, and some were collected during the late nineteenth century, immediately after the Apache Wars. While several of the authors listed below had some kind of professional training in cultural anthropology, linguistics or foklore studies, others did not, and as a result some of the information they provide may not be entirely accurate or properly contextualized. Nevertheless, we have decided to include these in the collection below because they include translations of Apache oral texts.
